I bought this lid because the one on my favorite stainless steel tumblers had a crack on the rim. I didn't want to get rid of a perfectly good tumbler so I bought this in hope that it would fit and it did. When you open the lid it flips all the way back and snaps in place. It will not come back down and hit your nose while taking a sip of your beverage. For now it meets my needs to my full satisfaction. Now I want to see if it will fit my Tervis tumbler as well. The problem with their lid is the opening from which you drink  is too big. I feel like I am drinking from a dribble glass because too much liquid pours out all at once. I also want to get one for my Silver Buffalo Stainless steel tumbler as well but only if they fit snugly.

So happy it fit my favorite tumbler

It works well. My only problem with it is that the cover for the opening seals to well, so that when you have something hot in the tumbler and you have the cover snapped into place, the pressure build up will pop the lid loose a little bit. That's annoying, and sometimes inconvenient. But if you snap it all the way closed the pressure can get out so it still works well.

Bought 4 of these lids now and I like them, but all of them have broke within a month. I use my cup every day and having the closure hinge bust is pretty inconvenient.

Keeps breaking

These lids are cheap junk. I have had 3 that have all broken in the same place after only several uses.  The little loop holes that the pegs on the flip top fits in break off and the stopper/flip top can't be reattached.

Go back to the old slider style!

The original lid was very durable but I lost it. Both replacement lids I've bought have broken under the slightest bit of pressure. The lid is supposed to lock onto the top when open, but it broke immediately. I dropped the other lid from 3 feet and the lid broke. Flimsy.

Flimsy non durable lid

Bought two news lids and both broke on first use. One broke and pivot point on lid and other on the tab that clips on lid. Bad plastic or design. I don't even want to give the lids a star but I had to for filling out and submitting review.

Junk

I love this top, it does not leak.  However, I cannot rate it more than 1. The rubber stopper started peeling and breaking down within the first 15 uses.

Crummy

The stopper tab broke off after 4 uses. Complete waste of money.

Avoid

lid broke.. worthless without the flap only used for a few days
